Cabo: 4 Fun Things to Do in Cabo, Mexico
“It’s a wild, wonderful world… follow your heart and let the adventure unfold.”
Flying into Cabo reminded me of California, where the mighty Pacific meets the magnificent mountains. I loved living in Los Angeles, and fond memories flooded my mind. I could not help but smile. Before I landed, I knew I would love Cabo. I think you will, too.
Are you planning a trip to Cabo? Are you wondering how to spend your time in this little slice of paradise? These were my four favorite experiences:
- Explore the Arch and snorkel at Pelican Rock: The Arch is a stunning site. Yes, you can see the beautiful rock formation from the shore, but experiencing it up close is truly remarkable. You will get great pictures, feel where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, and observe wildlife (birds, fish, seals, iguanas). After your boat tour, you will have the option of snorkeling at Pelican Rock. Do it. You will be thrilled with the kaleidoscope of colors swimming around you. Learn how you can enjoy my favorite Cabo experience by reading my blog.
- Horseback riding on the beach: Horseback riding is exhilarating in itself. Riding on the beach is even better. Galloping next to the water with the mountains as a backdrop is truly incredible. If you love horseback riding or have been curious about it, give it a whirl in Cabo. You will be happy you did. Learn more by reading about my horseback riding adventure.
- Off-roading in the desert: Off-roading is a wild and crazy trip. I had never thought about doing it before, but I am glad I did. Driving in the desert and along the beach adds a little touch of magic to what is already super fun. Read more about my off-roading excursion, and get the details on how to do it.
- Dine at El Farallon: The view was one of the most magnificent scenes I have ever experienced at a restaurant. But then again, how could it not be when you are situated inside of a mountain overlooking the Pacific? The fish is fresh, and dining here is truly an experience. I think this may be one of Cabo’s best kept secrets. Read more about my delicious meal, and plan your own evening out.
