North Carolina: Vivace
“Good food. Good wine. Good friends. Good times.”
Since I had never been to Charlotte, I told Brian I wanted to see the city. One night, we met his friends, Megan and Babak, for dinner at Vivace, an Italian restaurant.
The place was super trendy, and I felt like I was dining in the heart of Manhattan. As the weather was perfect, outside seating was limited. We were escorted to the second level, where we got a stunning view of the city.
We ordered a bunch of items to share, including caprese, mussels, calmari, carne pizza and linguini. This was a fun way to sample a variety of dishes, while sipping on our cocktails. After a delicious meal, we moved inside where our lively conversation continued over dessert. Our spread consisted of zeppoli, mascarpone cheesecake, black and white tiramisu, and hazelnut panna cotta.
Vivace was a great spot to admire Charlotte’s city lights, enjoy some tasty treats, and create new memories.
