Baked Kale Salad
“A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.”
Ingredients:
- Kale
- Fresh basil leaves
- Dried cranberries
- Sliced almonds
- Pink Himalayan salt
- Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Balsamic vinaigrette
Directions:
- Turn the oven on to 350 degrees.
- Put desired amount of kale into a pan.
- Add basil leaves from your basil plant.
- Add dried cranberries.
- Add sliced almonds.
- Add pink Himalayan salt.
- Add pepper.
- Add olive oil.
- Add minimal balsamic vinaigrette.
- Bake until the kale is a little crisp.
Variations of this recipe:
- Swap the sliced almonds for cashews.
OR…
- Swap the dried cranberries for cut up apples.
