Where can you catch an areal view of Palm Jumeirah?

After checking out the Dubai Frame, Elaine and I headed to the Observatory Bar & Grill, which was located inside the Marriott at the Dubai Marina. We wanted to catch a view of Palm Jumeirah, from above.

The best way to see an areal view of the palm is via helicopter or by skydiving. You can also kayak around the palm. Although we had spent some time on the Palm Jumeriah, we hoped to see the palm in its entirety. We wanted to know which building would give us the the most spectacular view. Elaine did the research, and she learned the Observatory Bar & Grill would be our best shot.

When we reached our destination, we caught a glimpse of the palm beneath the clouds. This was a huge tease. If I end up back in Dubai, I plan on heading back to the marina for that perfect view of the palm. This was our last attempt, as in a few hours, we would be on a bus, heading to Abu Dhabi.

Exploring Dubai Marina…

Afterwards, we walked around the Dubai Marina, before catching a cab back to our hotel. The Dubai Marina is pretty, peaceful, and it offers great people watching. Although we had been there one night, we enjoyed seeing the boats and water during the day. Go check it out!
