Tomato Sauce
One of my sisters works at a hospital. COVID-19 struck. Since her energy was depleted, I dug up some old family recipes my mom had given me. One of them was sauce. Bon appetite.

Ingredients
- Five cans of crushed tomatoes
- Olive oil
- One onion
- One green pepper
- Garlic
- Himalayan pink salt
- Pepper
- Basil
- Oregano (optional)
Instructions
- Saute onion, green pepper, and garlic.
- Add crusted tomatoes. Add water to capture all the tomatoes, optional.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Add basil.
- Add oregano.
- Boil on low heat for 30 minutes to an hour.

The sauce is a great dressing for meatballs.
